Understood as "Manifestations of memories". "They sometimes appear, after a person left too soon. Like a plant, ripped out before it is withered, leaving its roots behind. They have no memory of that person's life. But do hold what you might call a semblence of their soul in them." Also they appear as tiny people, that may float in the wind as they will. "The are almost random in appearance, but often they carry something that was peculiar to the person themselves. Maybe long and red hair, or missing limb. They are as manifestations of memories themselves after all". Though one thing is always present. Their voice is as it is remembered by those left behind.
Only those with a strong bond of memory may see them. And they themselves tend to stay close to a person where that bond was closest. Others will neither hear nor see them. Though they do care little for the world at present, and observe and exist carefree in this world.
